Why I Love Supporting Authors—and Why Women Who Write Have My Whole Heart

Updated: 2 days ago

There’s something sacred about a woman who chooses to write.

Not because writing is trendy or impressive—but because it’s brave.

At our agency, we’ve had the honor of supporting dozens of authors and mission-driven organizations as they prepare to launch books, host events, and share stories that matter. And with every project, I’m reminded that writing is rarely just about words on a page.

It’s about truth-telling. It’s about choosing visibility over silence. It’s about saying, “My story matters enough to be shared.”

That choice is never small.

My heart for this work comes from lived experience. As a first-time author, I wasn’t completely alone—I had some meaningful support along the way, and I’m deeply grateful for it.

And still, there were moments I found myself wishing for more guidance, more clarity, and a more cohesive strategy holding everything together. There were so many things I didn’t yet know to ask, and so many pieces I had to learn in real time while navigating the emotional weight of sharing my story with the world.

That experience shaped everything. It gave me a deep respect for how vulnerable this process is—and how powerful it can be when authors are fully supported, not just creatively, but strategically and operationally.

Now, we do that for others. We step in to provide the structure, execution, and steady partnership I once needed—so authors can focus on their message while knowing the strategy, promotion, and launch details are being handled with care. Because when a woman chooses to write, she deserves to be supported in a way that honors both her story and her courage.

Writing Is an Act of Leadership

Most women don’t wake up one day and casually decide to write a book.

They wrestle with it.

They question their authority.

They wonder who they are to take up space.

Writing asks women to revisit moments they’ve survived, lessons they’ve learned the hard way, and truths they’ve often carried quietly for years. It requires emotional honesty, self-trust, and a willingness to be seen—sometimes before they feel ready.

That’s why I believe writing is one of the boldest forms of leadership a woman can step into.

The Woman Behind the Manuscript

What I love most about supporting authors isn’t just the finished book—it’s the woman behind it.

The woman who:

  • keeps writing even when doubt is loud

  • chooses discipline over perfection

  • decides her voice is worth honoring

Jessica Baum — Bringing Bold Stories to Life

We had the privilege of supporting a powerful book signing with Jessica Baum that was hosted by Guardian Recovery and moderated by the fabulous Keesha Scott. Watching readers connect with her work in real time was a beautiful reminder of why this work matters. Books don’t just inform; they meet people where they are, giving language to experiences people may not yet know how to articulate.

At our agency, we specialize in elevating thought leadership and curating rooms where meaningful conversations can unfold. We partner with authors, businesses, and organizations who understand that impact isn’t created through visibility alone—it’s created through connection. Through intentionally designed events, we help transform ideas into experiences, bringing the right voices into the right spaces so messages don’t just land, they resonate.

These are not transactional gatherings. They are carefully curated moments where insight, storytelling, and community intersect—where leaders are positioned with credibility, audiences feel seen, and conversations continue long after the event ends. Whether through a book signing, live conversation, or immersive experience, our work is rooted in one belief: when thought leadership is activated in the right room, it has the power to move people, shift perspectives, and create lasting change.

Colette Jane Fehr — Upcoming Author Event

We're also supporting another deeply meaningful author moment with Colette Jane Fehr—this time through a fully integrated launch experience that spans both strategy and execution. The event itself has been thoughtfully designed to bring the right people into the room and create space for courageous, honest conversation around her message—but it’s just one part of a much larger picture.

Behind the scenes, we’ve served as the backend execution partner for Colette’s entire launch strategy, supporting everything from pre-order planning and promotional strategy to launch coordination and visibility execution. Our role has been to hold the infrastructure so her voice, story, and message can move with clarity and momentum.

This is how we approach thought leadership: by building systems that support the message and experiences that activate it. When strategy, storytelling, and execution are aligned, a launch becomes more than a moment—it becomes a movement.

Becca Powers — USA Today Bestselling Author

And then there are the milestone moments—like celebrating Becca Powers becoming a USA Today bestselling author. TThose wins are powerful not because of the list itself, but because of what it represents: perseverance, belief, and a woman fully owning her voice on a national stage.

Becca’s journey is one we’ve had the honor of walking from the very beginning—and she is, quite simply, the kind of client every agency hopes for.

She started inside our Launch Your Brand package with a powerful message and a deep openness to growth. From there, we ran alongside her through every phase: refining her positioning, supporting her through book deal negotiations, and connecting her with additional partners and resources to ensure her launch wasn’t just successful, but deeply aligned.

What makes working with Becca so special is her willingness to lead with both courage and trust. She shows up fully, does the work, and allows the process to shape her—not just as an author, but as a voice. Supporting her has been an absolute joy, and celebrating her success feels personal because it reflects the integrity, heart, and perseverance she brings to everything she does.

Across dozens of authors we’ve supported, I’ve watched the same transformation unfold again and again. Posture changes. Confidence deepens. Clarity sharpens. Women stop asking for permission and start owning their authority.

That’s the quiet power of this work. A book doesn’t just share a message—it often creates the woman who was always meant to deliver it. And walking alongside women like Becca as that transformation unfolds is why we love what we do.
