Yoka is amplifying Black women's voices through literature, storytelling, education, and community engagement. Her nonprofit connects authors with readers and young aspiring writers while also supporting women experiencing homelessness. Having interviewed more than 100 authors and reached an estimated 1,000 people, she's expanding opportunities for representation, literacy, creative expression, and community connection.
